Android Features of version 1.18.0
Connection
- One tap to connect: Automatic mode tries the fastest route first, then routes that blend in with web traffic, until one works.
- Diamond mode: connect through extra relay servers (multi-hop), where offered.
- Or pick a connection type yourself; types you can't use show why.
- Connects faster by trying the way that worked last time first.
- IP mode: IPv4, or Adaptive (IPv6 when your network supports it, else IPv4).
- Reconnects by itself after a drop or a Wi-Fi / mobile data switch.
- If a connection keeps dropping, the app switches to another way to connect.
- Always-on VPN: Android can start VitaminVPN by itself (set in Android's settings).
- If Android blocks the VPN, the app tells you why and opens the right settings.
Split tunnelling (every plan)
- Choose which apps use the VPN: all apps, all except the ones you pick, or only the ones you pick.
Servers
- Country and city list with search, ping, load and speed.
- Every server shows its name, ID and data centre: in the list, on the map and while you are connected.
- Every server shows its plan (FREE, PLUS, PRO, ELITE); filter by plan or hide the ones above yours.
- "Fastest available" picks the server with the most free speed, not just the nearest one.
- Map view: switch between the list and a world map, and connect from the map.
- Rate servers with 1 to 5 stars; you can turn the question off in Settings.
- After you disconnect, or if a server didn't connect, the app can ask you to rate it.
Privacy & safety
- Kill switch: blocks all traffic if the VPN drops. Paid plans (PLUS, PRO, ELITE).
- Keep other apps offline until the VPN is connected. Paid plans, with the kill switch on.
- IPv6 is held inside the VPN so it cannot leak; DNS lookups go through the VPN.
- Your username and password are stored encrypted on your phone.
- The notification hides your server on the lock screen.
- "Verify this build": compare the app's signing fingerprint with our website's.
Account & plans
- Sign in with your VPN username and password, or get a free account on our site.
- See your live speed and data left while connected, and every bundle's data and expiry.
- If a connection is refused, the app says why, with Renew, Add data or Upgrade buttons.
- Several plans? The app goes by your highest plan that still has data.
- Each bundle shows its expiry date and the days left.
- Renew or upgrade with our Telegram bot @VitaminNEObot, right from the app.
- Get help: answers to common problems and a way to contact support.
Control
- Status notification with a Stop button, and a Quick Settings tile. Theme: System, Light or Dark.
- Update notice: the home screen tells you when a new version is out, with what's new and where to get it.

- Home-screen widget: see your status and connect or disconnect in one tap.
- Pin any server to your home screen; long-press the app icon for quick actions.
Languages
- English, Azerbaijani (Latin and Arabic script), Turkish, Persian, Arabic, Russian, Chinese (Simplified), with right-to-left layout where needed. Follows your phone, or choose one.
Requirements
- Android 8.0 or newer.
- Android asks you to allow installs from your browser or Telegram, and to approve the VPN once.
- Updates: install the new version over the old one from our website or bot; settings are kept.
Questions
Do I need an account?
Yes. Creating a free account is what issues your username and password, so start there. After that you can stay on the free plan or buy a bundle in your panel — the app itself only ever needs the username and password.
What happens when my data runs out?
The tunnel stops and the app tells you. Buy another plan and paste the same credentials — or new ones — and you are going again. Nothing on your phone is deleted.
Does it work where VPNs are blocked?
That is what it is built for. The app has several ways of reaching a server and tries them one after another, then remembers whichever worked so the next connection is quicker.
Do you keep logs of what I do?
No. We keep no activity logs: we never record the sites you visit, your traffic or your DNS lookups. For your plan we count only the data you use and the devices online.
